Let congratulate our young bright star for job well done

South Sudan's Under-15 national team have achieved a huge upset by defeating Chinese club Shanghai SIPG in the Korea Invitational Tournament. The match finished 0-0 in regular time and South Sudan got the victory through a 5-4 win in penalty shootouts. Shanghai SIPG are one of Asia'a strongest and richest clubs, with their senior team featuring stars such as Hulk and Oscar. A victory for South Sudan against their U-15 team is a massive achievement and demonstrates the improvements the team has made throughout the tournament.

BILPAM: SPLA hands the corpse of American journalist to US Embassy.

The SPLA says it has handed over the corpse of Christopher Allen, a US f reelance journalist, to the American Embassy in Juba. The SPLA Medical Corps said that the Allen died of a gunshot wound to the head. Allen was killed during fighting in Kaya on Saturday morning. SPLA said his corpse was recovered from the battlefield and has no identity papers with it. Colonel Santo Domic, SPLA Deputy Spokesman and Michael Makuei, the Minister of Information and government spokesman say that Allen was a rebel and not a journalist. SPLA IO Captured Kaya, Bindu, Kimba and Bazi.

Yesterday morning at exactly 0600hrs, our joint operations forces of division 2b under the command of Major. General John Mabieh Gaar successfully launched a coordinated attack on Kaya, Bindu, Kimba and Bazi. Our forces flushed the enemies out of Kimba, Bazi, Bindu and in Kaya, the enemy forces are confined at the Uganda border.   Our gallant force killed 56 government soldiers including the commander of Bindu base who was a Major and a Captain from MI unit in Kaya known locally as Malis. We captured one (1) 12.7 mm, six (6) Pkms, four (4) RPGs and twenty eight(28) Ak47. We lost three(3) freedom fighters and 15 wounded. The SPLA IO also regrets the lost of a Freelance Journalist; Christopher Allen, a USA citizen who was targeted and killed by the government forces for photographing the fight.
