SPLA TROOPS CUFF OFF JUBA -NIMULE ROAD AFTER DEADLY AMBUSH

0 By Red Times on September 2, 2016 E.A News Hundreds of South Sudanese troops have heavily been deployed along Juba-Nimule road following an attack by unknown gunmen, who left two officers dead and several others injured on the same road. The Two national security officers were killed in an ambush in Jebelain area, a remote valley where people from ethnic Madi community live in separate villages. The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) army official also said the Army chief of general staff ordered to deploy troops in response to the new situation on the road connecting to Uganda that serves as the lifeline for the government. [Courtesy] Last week, a scared and emotional Rebeca Aluel Garang arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, praying and hoping that she was finally safe. The tall, slender 19-year-old girl with delicately beautiful looks had flown more than 1,000km from Juba, South Sudan, running away from an old, but wealthy man with three wives, whom her parents were forcing her to marry. But her joy was short-lived. On Sunday afternoon, Interpol officers took Aluel from Embakasi Police Station and took her back to South Sudan.
