Cholera cases reach 100 in Jonglei: Official
The number of cholera cases
reported among residents of South Sudan’s Jonglei State reached over 100, the
state minister of health said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on on
Friday, Minister Angok Gordon said the number of cholera cases is increasing
despite government efforts to fight the outbreak in the state.
“The number of the cases is on the rise and it has reached more than 100 cases, so this is the latest report I have received from all health centers and not in Bor only, but across the state,” he said.

The health official pointed out that they have already sent
cholera response teams to raise awareness about cholera in the
state.
