Gen. David Yau Yau Refused A Return To Juba: Pibor

capital, Juba, alleged that the Deputy Minister of Defense and veteran affairs,
and the former Chairman of Cobra Squad. Gen. David Yau Yau, has refused to return to Juba after the biased peace initiative by the
First Vice present Gen. Taban deng Gai said one of
his officials. Yau Yau is currently stationed
in Pibor and he’s not going anywhere he added.
According to rumours and an
official who preferred anonymity said Lt. Gen. David Yau Yau has been pursued
many times from last week through phone calls but he failed to listen to
the calls. Gen. YAU YAU refused a return to the South Sudanese Capital because
the fighting which took place between the Murle Youth and Dinka Bor youth who
were said have been backed by the army, and yet the SPLA government in
Juba has been handling the issue carelessly. The general said, the way it
was done doesn’t make him happy at all.
The generals from Bor who
heads SPLA’s Davision 8 supplied weaponry to Bor youth to fight Murle. The
generals who took side by arming their youth and commanding soldiers to assist
the youth in their fight with the Murle people are from Bor and I can’t
sit and watch like nothing is happening said David Yau in a statement.
Yau Yau said I will not go
back to Juba even after he met with the First Vice president. He said Makuei
didn’t come to Pibor because he knows he planned this attack on my people and I
might be jailed if I go to Juba.
