WILD FIRES DESTROYED OVER 900 HOUSES IN IMATONG STATE.





Wild fires destroyed more than 900 deserted houses in Pogee, Lawaci, Alworotong, and Pajok Bomas of Imatong State at the end of December.

Community members reported the incident during a rally hosted by the Imatong State Governor, Tobiolo Alberio Oromo, on Wednesday. 

The governor was also informed of a 23-year-old man who burned to death In the wild fires. 

Ayachi County Commissioner, Adong ken Kenneth,told the governor that the need for humanitarian aid could soar in the coming days as people slowly return to their homes

SPLA TROOPS CUFF OFF JUBA -NIMULE ROAD AFTER DEADLY AMBUSH

The Two national security officers were killed in an ambush in Jebelain area, a remote valley where people from ethnic Madi community live in separate villages. The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) army official also said the Army chief of general staff ordered to deploy troops in response to the new situation on the road connecting to Uganda that serves as the lifeline for the government.
