Decline to the position of being legal Advisor (SSSAK’s government)
Date 26th/March/2018
To
Cde Ayuel Taupiny Malek
SSSAK’s
Interim President,
Nairobi-Kenya.
Decline to the position of being legal Advisor (SSSAK’s government)
Dear sir,
First and foremost, let
me take this opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the trust you bestowed
on me dated 25th, March,2018. I would wish to serve with you
together in this interim leadership sir unfortunately, that wouldn’t work &
with due respect, I am here by humbly declining to accept the opportunity
offered by your humble leadership, that is by appointing me as your legal ad visor.
As a friend and Cde whom I do many things with, we have long way to go and as
such, it is the right and high time to put into practice justice, fairness or
equal representation in the system that we always claim as young leaders who
have that tendency that would later change the deteriorating political
situation in our country, South Sudan.
Sir, let me bring into
your close attention that, immediately, after you read out your decrees, I
realized something went wrong at my backyard, being a son from greater lakes
state, narrowed down to current state of Eastern lakes (Yirol) and the fact
that, I was the one who spearhead the current interim government establishment,
however, wouldn’t allow me to have lion’s share, I would be regarded as selfish
or self-centered if I do that, I can
already see other potential youth from my community well-positioned which am
proud of but I would not be comfortable if brothers/sisters from other
communities are complaining of one community being dominant and as such, am
relinquishing my position to a person of your choice in any of those states left
out. Consider the fact that, I advised you to give out the position of finance
secretary which was contested by sons of Western lakes and Gok states to any
Equatorian competent youth/student as a matter of regional balancing, so I
would excuse myself serving in that capacity and would love your leadership to
give special consideration in regard to that but I would still consider any
opportunity that will come on my way in the future or continue do my roles as SSSAk’s member that
love the prosperity of South Sudanese community
here in Kenya & anywhere in the world.
Sir ,when the same, same
scenario happened in 2016 where almost all SSSAk’s Electoral commission’s
positions were occupied by Yirol community based on their credentials, I was
the first to intervene and we managed to persuade our brothers who could have
served to drop their positions and now, it’s me, so I need not to be told or tell someone to
drop, instead, I should be the one to willingly do it to quell down what people
are or would be talking about outside
there.
Wish, your kind office
would approve my request.
Yours sincerely;
Cde Medjhak Deng Medjhak,
SSSAK’s Ex.Legal Advisor.
Cc Hon. Nelson Gatmai
Buom, the Speaker of SSSAK
Cc Hon. Malueth Ayuel,
